The Hudson Sno-men Inc. snowmobile club was organized in 1970, shortly after the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association (NHSA) came into being. The organization was formed in order to protect the growing and popular outdoor snowmobiling sport in Hudson NH and surrounding communities. Of prime interest was future participation in legislative action that may be of concern, protecting the best interest of the snowmobiling sport in safety and the use of a landowner’s property. Throughout the year the Sno-Men are active in snowmobiling and social activities. A Flea Market for snowmobiles, all terrain vehicles, parts and accessories is held in November, and the snowmobile Safety Training Seminar takes place in December. Other activities include; dances, golf tournament, annual banquet, special dinners and more. Planned snowmobile trips take place during the winter months and are enjoyed by all. Hudson Sno-Men Inc., fundraising benefits the Easter Seals Camp Sno-Mo. Other charities benefiting are usually located in Hudson NH and surrounding area. The Hudson Sno-men Inc. logo was developed and adopted during the 1970/1971 winter seasons. The Hudson Sno-men meet at the Hudson Youth Recreation Center, 4 Oakwood Street, Hudson, NH bi-monthly on the first and third Wednesday of the month at 8:00 pm. Guests are always welcome at the club’s meetings.
